Why a tax practice just for nurses
Nursing income is rarely simple. Rotating rosters, penalty rates, overtime, agency shifts, several employers, salary packaging and a steady stream of registration, union and CPD costs all land on one return. Most of the mistakes the ATO sees on nurse returns come from rules that are easy to misread: when a uniform is really a uniform, when travel stops being commuting, and when an overtime meal can be claimed.
